Titan Award 2017 presented to Global Art, Alwarpet.

Kolor Champ 2013, the National level Global Art Competition was held at Chennai Trade Center on 9th November 2013. More than 1300 participants took part in this competition from all over India. The competition was a test of not just the skill, talent and speed of the child but was a challenge to their creativity!

The topics were given on the spot! It was indeed a proud moment for all of us at Kalaa Manjari, which is the Global Art center for Alwarpet area when our children consistently win various prizes at these competitions including the CHAMPIONS trophy . two of our children won the CHAMPIONS trophy at this competition.

P.S.Ashvitha of D.A.V. Girls School, Gopalapuram, won the CHAMPIONS trophy in Group A which is the category for students in the age group of 5 – 7 years. Her drawing on the topic “My Favorite Holiday” was chosen among hundreds of children in Group A.

Harihar Prashad of D.A.V. Boys, Gopalapuram, won the CHAMPIONS trophy in Group D which is the category for students in the age group of 13 years and above. His picture depicting Onam with friends for the topic “My Favorite Festival with friends” was also chosen among hundreds of participants. Hearty Congratulations to all the participants and winners!

Chess Tournament

Kalaa Manjari conducts chess tournaments for children in the sub-junior, junior and senior category twice a year on January 26 (Republic Day Tournament) and August 15 (Independence Day Tournament).

APPRECIATION AWARD FUNCTION

Kalaa Manjari’s efforts to encourage children in all activities continues unabated.
Kalaa Manjari held an Art Competition for NON GLOBAL ART children on 27th February 2013 on the topic ‘I LOVE MY SCHOOL’.
The competition saw great turn out and enthusiastic participation from lots of children. The age groups were 5 – 8 years and 9 years & above.
It was a matter of great encouragement that 4 specially abled children from the St Louis School of Deaf and Dumb took part in the competition and won prizes too. Their creatives were beautiful.
All the children were happy to receive the prizes from Mrs. Aishwarya Dhanush.
